Public health, especially proven by us having all gone through the COVID-19 pandemic, is a public good that is best handled by a centralised healthcare system whose mission is to pursue the public good, not about profiting off of the sick. The places who prioritise universal healthcare and that have had immense trust in their system were hit the least minimally from this pandemic, while those who relied primarily on a privatised healthcare system, such as the US, had a much higher infection and death toll. Public health is a public good.
