I support a study or inquiry to determine the degree to which these corporations engage in anti-competitive activities; if they are truly forming monopolistic companies, they should face the same kind of counter-monopoly rules as other major corporations.

 @5Z8DMCG from Tennessee answered…2yrs2Y

Not necessarily but Facebook and Google should be regulated to prevent the spread of misinformation.

 @92JXK3J from New York answered…2yrs2Y

No, but the government should do everything in it's power to increase competition and free trade and ensure that these companies do not monopolize, even if it involves tax breaks, and ensure they respect the first amendment.

  Deletedanswered…2yrs2Y

No this is unconstitutional, but the companies should be reviewed for antitrust violations.

No, but they should be regulated to prevent monopolies, and close all loopholes to ensure they are paying their taxes. Also, we should enforce laws that ensure they are providing adequate wages and working conditions for their employees.

Any company that engages in anti-competitive behavior should be broken up.

 @9334YP3answered…2yrs2Y

The government has no business breaking up businesses, it should instead seize Amazon, Facebook and Google's assets and distribute those to the victims of their crimes.

 @92XJ38Y from New York answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only if the companies are found to be using anti-competitive practices.

no, but huge entities should be restricted in donating to political candidates.

 @3HNRB33answered…2yrs2Y

Unfortunately I want to be able to give a yes or no, but I do not know enough about this to know for sure where I lean. I see the pros and cons of both sides and I've benefited from the services and/or convenience that amazon and google have provided although I'm dissatisfied with many of the policies at the same time.

 @92JCZ6T from California answered…2yrs2Y

No. The US should handle that issue because Amazon, Facebook, and Google are headquartered in the US.

  @MSelvig from Wyoming answered…2yrs2Y

Not yet, but we should make sure they are following all laws and statutes related to their market.

Instead of them being broken up we should investigate their shady business practices and stomp down on them.

 @8Z6D7QZ from West Virginia answered…2yrs2Y

There should be more restrictions on corporations, in general, in order to prevent monopolies from taking control of the government.

Yes, breaking up big tech will increase competition and instill a fair market.

 @8YPV9GGanswered…2yrs2Y

Only break up Facebook, as the other two actually offer valuable services. However, regulate Amazon and Google better.

No, but increase penalties for Facebook's continuous violations of privacy data laws, and allow businesses to group together to collectively file suits against each of these companies
